    my uplink is one of the stars ;)

    one problem we run into in these cases, is that the area was still in my tosser
    configs but with no systems connected... then a downlink connects and there's no areafix forwarded up the line to my uplink...

    then, when this got started, i sent a areafix upstream and was told the area didn't exist... a few days later, i see the post in the backbone area but no reply ACK to it... oh well... it is connected... i think... i posted a link test in it the other day ;)

It can be fatiguing to work around the stuff you don't care about when it is all consolidated into one stream, and a lot of users will just avoid
    it rather than manage it.

    Quite naturally, because interfacing with the internet is
    going to be a topic no matter what the os. Note that
    batpower also cruises along with some occasional traffic as
    well <g>.
