Does anyone have a well functioning copy of Lynx?
I ripped the browser part out of Bobcat and that is about
the best I can find. It is however a bit buggy and won't
take large sites. There is a problem with the memory
management. Perhaps I have too much available and it
is not coded for that. Perhaps it needs a specifc
    memory manager, I don't know.

I'm continuing this same message because I don't
understand the editor here. It doesn't really work as
far as I can see. Sorry. :)

The other Lynx version I tried is the DosLynx one.
It has it's own menu system and doesn't really do
the standard Lynx thing. It also won't do a lot of
    really simple pages.

Anyway, my question is, does anyone have a more functional
    version?

I've already found something. I had forgotten about this one.
I downloaded the huge file and just kept the lynx.cfg file
and then the single executable without the language support.
The version is Lynx Version is 2.8.5rel.1. I'm happy now.
All I need are Lynx.cfg and Lynx.exe and everything works.
Very fast compared to the Bobcat and DosLynx versions which
can't handle a lot of sites and don't have that "DOS speed"
that I crave. :) If anyone else is interested the web site
to get the latest version from is:

That's essentially the one I'm using. :) Mine is 2.8.5dev.16

And D Kaufman is the name on mine, as well... so it does seem to be the
same... :) It's been working just fine for me, for some years now. :)
