Hello, I'm new here and would like to help keep this echo
alive. I have been using DOS for many years now and it is
my OS of choice for basic networking. I do ping,
traceroute, htget, ftp, ssh, and telnet which I'm using
now. Actually this is a new telnet client by Mike Brutman
which I'm testing. So far it is the best I've found in DOS.
I'll come back and talk some more if there is anybody here.
:) Also, a new blog posting at http://voxigo.wordpress.com
about BBSs.
However, I do hope there are more people here soon. I'll
check tomorrow!
Better check back a couple days.
I fired up my old 486DX100 laptop W/12meg ram the other day.
Found out I had Win 98 on it. Gotta take it back to DOS.
I am working up to having a range of computers on the web, from
that old 486 up to my P4 with XP. Just to do it, no real reason.
I have lots of Win 98/ME/2K/XP machines. Now I gotta reach back
to DOS.
Gotta have media players working on all systems. Minimum.
