    At first I thought it might be rather "cool". But it turns out to
    be somewhat a pain in the rump. There's more junk posted to my
    "home" than I even care to think about. And I haven't found a way
    to dump it - there probably is but I haven't taken the time to
    research it. And that "Farmville"... I've actually had to enter a
    junk rule in my e-mail client about Farmville. Need I say more? :)

    I know what you mean there :) What I've done is enabled chat in my pidgin IM client so that I can 'chat' if I need to with a number of relatives .. and not have to even log on to facebook <grin>.. works for me. With Mom now in rehab for some clots her doc has under control now, I could probably even get rid of that now <g>.

    It's complicated.. You have to make a number of sequential choices to dump it..
    and then, once you do choose to dump your account, if you should ever log on there again they automatically "re-install" your account there.
