Yah I know, this ROtt isn't as skittish about them as our
last one was. But then, she was around gangbanger fools
with pistols, and saw her original master gunned down on the streets of NEw ORleans. FIrst peaceful fourth of July I had with her was after we moved up here to Tn. and lived out in
    the woods.

Schotzi our current rott is three years old this summer, and though they upset her a bit they don't get her all wound up
like some dogs during the fireworks.
BUt then, she's pretty secure in her attitudes toward most
    things.

    Regards,
    Richard

I don't know that the fireworks p*sses them off, I do know that the
explosions *scare* them. Particularly when some idiot kid intentionally
throws a firecracker toward the dog.

When I lived in town I kept my dogs inside for several days before and after the 4th. Now that I'm out here in the boonies with the nearest neighbor 1/4 milw away it isn't much of an issue...
