    If a person makes their fortune legally and has paid all
    taxes on said fortune, including any earned on or off of
    investments accrued with said money..

    Should the Govt play Robin Hood?

    If so why?

    Do you recall what Robin Hood did? It wasn't just rob from the
    rich to give to the poor.

    And Robin Hood robbed from the government (dictator) to give to
    the poor.

    Robin Hood did *NOT* rob from the honest to give to the poor.
    Only the dishonest and dishonorable. Which was what the rich
    were back then, and are becoming more so now.

The story of his exploits became romanticized over the centuries into what we have seen in the movies and fits in with the idea if the idiot class that the rich are by definition evil and any attempt by the government to
    tax the rich to death is honorable.
