Yep and the Obama Administration's polices will ensure that oil
    prices
stay high. I've been in pipeline and oil trusts for some time now.
I've done well on growth and income.

Meanwhile, I can't barely afford gas. Having to drop $40 a week on
gas hurts. The only way gas prices will go down is after Obama and
    friends are gone.

Gas prices could be lowered within days, if the fool would
    stop the no-offshore-drilling moratorium.

Ok, that has to be one of the silliest notions yet propounded.

Yep and this is he way Obama and company want it. They
want it like England where it is upwards of $6/gallon.
They are creating policies to get just this result.

Ok, this one got even sillier.

In Europe, not just England, taxes push up the price of gas
    dramatically.

If we did that here we could finance public transit, pay for
infrastructure rebuilding, and reduce the influence of the oil
    Sheiks over our government.

If the price of gas looks like it's going out of sight, I'm
    going to make an unbudgeted
purchase of a little puddle jjumper that's approximately
the same thing as a Vespa.
Gets about 100 mpg. There's a fellow over in Red Oak that
    sells them, they're about
a grand. Not good for highway travel, but for back roads
    and in town they're OK.

A small motorcycle can match or beat that gas milage. On top of
that it is suitable for highway travel. I wouldn't go across the
country on one, but you can do a couple hours no trouble.

can't get the license for the scooter, though I used to run
around on a HOnda 90 cc much the same principle.

That's what I had. Do 65 on the E-Way no problem. Peppy little
    thing.

YEah they were alright. I beat mine up offroading it. RAn
off from a park ranger one time when I was a kid on it. HE
was up at the beach, the snack bar iirc when I saw somebody
pull in and hooked a U turn to go say hi to themand he asked me where my license was. I told him "On the back of my
motorcycle" and took off down the hiking trail on it where
he couldn't go in his pickup. HE caught up with me later up at the campground. After that I made sure not to cruise into that state park
    anymore.
