    Before it is over a dead carp will likely be able to beat
    Obama in the general election.

    A dead carp maybe, the current crop of republicans? Unlikely.

    The rest of the country is
    learning a painful lesson, that many others of us knew well
    before the election of 2008.

    That the republicans lie a lot, and spend a lot of money
    publicizing their lies.

    The Dems will have to go
    extremely negative and very early to have any chance in
    2012. My prediction is the ugliest election in US history.
    It will be another lowering of the bar by the Dems.

    All republican gains in power since 1980 have been by lowering
    the bar of decency. Now you complain that democrats are just
    learning that trick?

    The dems will need every trick in the book to pull this one
    off. They'll have to make the rounds of the cemeteries
    again, pull up obits from the last four or five years.
    Bring their voting block up to date.

    Well, after the republicans once more remover legitimate voters
    from the rolls, as they did massively in Florida in 2000, what
    differenc will that make?

    I'm beginning to get a strong suspicion that, at the last
    moment, Hussein will sign an executive order legalizing
    every illegal alien in the country.

    Now that displays a total lack of any knowledge or understanding
    of how immigration works.

    12 million or more brand new voters......and guess who
    they'll vote for?

    No one. It takes years to get citizenship.

    I also look for a whole lot of `suddenly discovered' ballot
    boxes full of votes for the dem candidate. At the
    appropriate times, of course.

    Like the one that the republicans discovered in Wisconsin.

    I think this one is gonna to make a Tammany Hall election
    look like amateur night in the Bowery!

    Hell, the republicans did that in Florida in 2000. No matter
    what the democrats did, they never got away with removing tens
    of thousands of legal voters from the rolls like the republicans
    did.
