Our Control room is housed in an acoustically isolated 19 ft. cargo box on the rear of our truck.

COntrol room sounds great! Plenty of bass trapping and a
    reliable monitoring environment.

We offer a self contained audio production facility with state of the art recording and monitoring capability.

    Equipment includes the following:
MCI 600 series mixing console with integral patchbay.
54 channel 3 way splitter with JEnsen transformers, plenty of snake. Standard interconnections with mains power, both 240 vac and 3 phase.

High resolution 24 track digital recording. TAke product to
production facility of your choice for final mix downs
    and/or additional processing.

    TWo channels RTS intercom.

Signal processing by DBX LExicon and scamp.

    QSC and Crown power amplifiers
JBL 4411 nearfield monitors or Yamaha ns-10, client's choice.

Two color video monitors, one for preview, one program.
SOny VIdeo cameraavailable to visually monitor the
performance if no other video capabilities available on
    site.

Being isolated from the actual event allows us to give our
full attention to the process of recording or providing audio
for broadcast and/or streaming listeners. Multi-track
recordings are provided to the recording client on a hard
disk for processing at a facility of his/her choice at a
    later date if desired.

Old school with modern technology: Though many recording operations have
gone to a rack of equipment which can be located in a closet or other area backstage we still use a self contained mobile control room
for recording and mixing. In the past this requirement was
unavoidable because of the bulky equipment needed for audio
recording. THough the equipment is smaller and easier to
transport we find that being outside the venue in our own
customized working space gives us several advantages which enable us to deliver a higher quality product to the customer. SInce we do not specialize in SOund reinforcement we have no need to
actually be inside the facility. Our customized mobile control room provides a
consistently reliable monitoring environment for recording and mixing for broadcast. Listeners will stay tuned, and other production staff concentrate on their primary responsibilities. We concentrate on capturing the performance for broadcast or later production without getting in the way,
and they remain relatively independent of us.

Though other approaches may appear to be more cost effective they require compromises which may not result in suitable audio capture for broadcast or later production. Having a known acoustic environment and staff dedicated to the task enables you to be confident that satisfactory results will be obtained.
We can, however provide a lower cost alternative for
recordings of chamber music ensembles, traditional choirs,
bluegrass performances and other such genres that don't
generate high sound pressure levels. Call us to discuss
    your needs.

Our staff has over 20 years of experience in recording sound reinforcement
and production. RIchard WEbb, our chief
engineer/technician has been a musician; live sound technician and recording engineer since 1975. HIs first professional studio engineering experience was in 1980. We learned to do it the old way, when performers played their instruments and all the digital editing capability was nonexistent.
THis rig provided the TV broadcast mix for Willie Nelson's
Farm Aid, live recordings of the Radiators; NEw ORleans
    Jazz fest performances;, some Austin City LImits TV productions;
the b52's and many others. Different owners, but the same
high quality sound this control room is known to produce.

Available out of the MEmphis TEnnessee area.

NO mileage or per diem applies if within 100 miles of SOmerville, Tn. COmpetitive rates.

Lower cost options may be available to customerswho will
not be employing sound reinforcement. Call or email us to
discuss your project and see if one of our lower cost option
    will serve your needs.

We offer special discounts to educational institutions.

Call (901) 465-9921 ask for Kathleen or Richard during normal
    business hours central time.
