• ZoomFloppy Help

From Charles Gutman@3:770/3 to All on Sun Sep 4 12:20:09 2022
I purchased a ZoomFloppy a couple of years ago and have since downloaded a few files that I'd like to use on my C64. Trouble is that I have been unsuccessful in every single attempt trying to install it on my Windows XP machine.
So I have since given up on XP even though I love it so, and have now installed Windows 8 on my Sony Vaio Laptop.
Will Zoomfloppy install on Windows 8?
Thanks so much and it's great to be resurrected from the dead!

Yes, it should run fine under windows 8. I started with a Win8 Machine when I first got my ZoomFloppy, then moved to Win10 years later. So you should be alright.

Join us and the tens of thousands attendees at the Sept. 26-28 Bay
Area Maker Faire in Vallejo, California!

    https://bayarea.makerfaire.com

Our booth is called the Classic Bay Area Computers! (CBAC!). I've decided
to bring the Ultimate 64 with all kinds of new/old games, the Amiga 1000
with Firebird accelerator or Amiga 500 with Wicher accelerator, the
AmigaOne A1222+, and a Toshiba T3200SX giant laptop! My other friends
will be bringing in their machines, anywhere from Tandy's to Mac's to rare Japanese computers and/or game consoles.
Our Classic Bay Area Computers! (CBAC!) page has gone live! See us at

Though not confirmed yet, we'll probably be in one of the Coal Shed exhibit buildings. We'll be setting up on Thursday afternoon, and
then the BAMF attendees will pour in on Friday, Sept. 26. It will be
    a long weekend! ;)

Our booth will be in the *computer row area*, just slightly separated from
the Market vendors but still nearby. We're lower-lit area of the
    Storehouse North.
