Maybe, one of these days, I'll make the 35 mile drive to make one of your meetings. My brother and I used to run a BBS on a C128 and a 300 bps modem back in the late 1980's here in Visalia. I don't remember the software we used, but I ran one on a C64 before that. The first computer I used (outside of high school) was a Plus 4.

    Hey, I live in Visalia!

We live near Riggin & Dinuba Blvd (Hwy 63).

I have (or had) a couple of Commodore emulators, but never could find some of the old programs I used to run. I also couldn't remember the OS commands, etc. I had C64 and then a 128 with a couple 1541 drives and even a 1581. I can't remember the modem I had, but it was only 300 bps.

In high school, we used a dumb terminal with handset cradle modem to connect to the school's computer. (1980 or 81)

    Besides C-Net AMIGA BBSs.

Are others experiencing posts from the Internation Cooking ECHO showing up in this echo?

I thought it was just my BBS, until I also noticed it happening on a fellow C-Net Amiga BBS.

I am not noticing this behavior in any of the other echo's.. Just the CBM echo at this time.

I think it was an accident and the poster(s) has/have publically
    acknowledged it as such.

Hi Brent, I'm the COOKING echo moderator. The post in question was an accidental mispost in this echo so no need to worry.

Thanks! No worries.. I was just ruling out an issue on the C-Net BBS side of things... I thought it was my BBS, until I saw it on another C-Net BBS as well...

    Appreciate the feedback!
