Well I'm seeing it in Ontario but I get my mail feed through a site
    in Kentucky. (Long story)
But I believe this conference was called Canada-US chat originally so
probably goes all across both countries..

When home, well for now, Ontario, Canada is homebase, but yes
I read your text. Hope you reply. Cold in Ontario.

We're getting ready soon for Spring anyday now. :) I think we're done with all of our snow already for the year. BC has such short winters..

Where I am, the message area is called "Canadian Chatter".

I suppose the reason I was looking for clarification, was to see if anyone was listening, and to discover is this a good area to talk Canadian Politics, or is
there another feed more suitable for that?

The conference name seems to mutate depending on where it is..
(As you can see above) I remember it from first picking it up
    decades ago as Canada-US Chat..

Actually from either CanadaChat or Canadian Chatter (which makes us
sound like chipmunks..) it sounds more like it's only for Canadians
which was not the original intent..

Discussing Politics?.. I haven't looked into them but there are usually conferenceses dedicated to Politics although there have definitely been comments on it from time to time when something noteworthy happens.
Looking at conferences available to me on this board there is one
simply called Politics but it may be dominated by or intended more for
    U.S.A. Politics.

Personally I'm not much of a political animal. I always feel like you
are choosing among the 3 or 4 parties available for the one that will
do you the least amount of harm. It's been a long time since I've
voted because I actually wanted someone to win. Usually it's more to
block someone I definitely don't want from getting in... B)
