Hello, All.
Thanks to Nancy and her "wizard"'s help, I now have a working Y2K-patched version of the Blue Wave mail door for ProBoard. I just did a test post in my own mail network and all is working nicely. I'll bundle that EXE up and make it available soon.
For Mike: How I got ProBoard and BW to work was I shut down all nodes of Telegard/2, made sure it wouldn't restart when the system rebooted (I have the BBS bring itself up in TCPEXIT.CMD) and after the system restarted, I uploaded a message via MultiMail into BW locally (at the command prompt). BW posted the
message directly with no hassle.
So this means that I can go back to running the BBS software I actually really like now without that small problem I had before: no way to reset the last read
message pointers for my offline mail users. I am in the process of writing something for the internal QWK module users, but I have to write that in C using a special SDK and since I've never programmed in C before, that will take
a little time. :)
Later,
Sean
