Ok, that makes sense. If you and Mark haven't already fixed the
problem, my Wizard is willing to take a stab at it for you, if you can send him a copy of the EXE from the installation... he thinks that
even with a different compiler he may be able to find where the fix
should be. Backus at bluefrog dot com is my addy, I can get
    attachments.

Don't think Mark has done anything with the Maximus doors and I am already doing a different post-fix to the messages in the database in order to fix grunged date issues by both BlueWave and Silver Xpress.

I will be happy to re-extract the distribution archives I have around here and produce a bundle for Wizard to peruse. If he finds any joy, I will also be happy to test the results (as best I can figure out how) and make the modified files available for download.

Hi, Mike... sorry this took a little while... I'm about a week behind in
    my message packets...!

My wizard was guessing that a different compiler might have caused the
problem you were having in finding the sequence...
    My guess also.
The other wonder he had (I think I'm stating this right) was
whether you were trying to run the fix on the .exe that contained
the install or the .exe that would run the door itself...

I typically remove the install dirs/files once the install is
complete, and I have multiple installations. I am searching the BWMAIL.EXE for DOS and/or BWMAIL2.EXE for OS/2 in the directory of
each of those installations, which are the same executables called
    from the menu by Maximus.

Ok, that makes sense. If you and Mark haven't already fixed the
problem, my Wizard is willing to take a stab at it for you, if you can
send him a copy of the EXE from the installation... he thinks that even
with a different compiler he may be able to find where the fix should
be. Backus at bluefrog dot com is my addy, I can get attachments.
