  • I think it's working now!

    I've been trying to get the MajorBBS system accepting inbound telnet. Well this morning it starting getting them. I tested it with my phone, disabling wifi and just using cell data. It connected. So I would like some other outside user to give it a try if you could. Thanks!

    Works ... MajorBBS is still as awful as I remember. :)

    I could just get a connect on IPv4:

    # telnet mbbs.casacam.net

    Trying 76.156.142.14...
    Connected to mbbs.casacam.net.

    But IPv6 is still not working. I suggest you remove the IPv6 AAAA record, for now, until you can configure thist properly on your firewall and bbs system...

    well i wouldnt call it difficult. i used to call those bbses that metrogameport took over and i was able to post msgs, download files, play doorgames and go in irc chat.

    citadel is something that i would call difficult to use for most users.
