"bbbs bsmtp" can't do authentication. You should run local smtp relay (Postfix or similar) and transmit mails:
bbbs -> postfix@localhost -> world
Or:
bbbs -> postfix@localhost -> isp relay -> world
First setup is Postfix's default configuration, second one needs few lines of configuration for authentication and such.
