    Heh well it sounds like you've got a couple of people (including me) looking to make sure that it's not happening now, at least.

    short of removing all configured areas and re-importing a new and updated list,
    no, not that i'm aware of... it is just one of those tasks that require BBS operators to be aware of the change so they can make the adjustments in their software and possibly in the lists they use to import areas if/when they rebuild/reconfigure their systems...
