I drove the Camry to work yesterday, I'm getting it ready to sell after sitting for a while. My commute to work is a 2-lane freeway surrounded by redwood trees over a 1700 foot pass or a windy country road surrounded by farms and trees. 6 cylinders, 190 HP and fatter, non
low-rolling-resistance tires made for a much more fun drive...
I alternate driving my cars in the winter. The summer months, the Harley gets top priority followed by alternating the cars on foul weather days.
The Charger is 300HP which makes my Monte Carlo feel like a go cart when it comes to speed. Even the bike has way more pick-up at around 90HP (1560cc).
I need to take a look at the Monte Carlo's passenger side front wheel this weekend. This week it starts shaking to the point it feels like the wheel is going to fall off. It is either lug nuts that are loose (which would be from Pep Boys when they installed my tires), or a seized caliper. Will investigate.
If it requires parts, will order from RockAuto and leave it sit this week and fix it next weekend when it is not in the teens for a high temp!
