It was the first claim on the house in 25 years...and it has been
owned by us since we bought it in 1977.
Same insurance company the whole time....?

Yep. To the insurance companies, it's a catastrophe if they have to
    pay a claim.

To some extent it depends on which insurance company... We've had both
good and some less good experiences with insurance claims over the
    years... :)

    Hallo Nancy!

You make some very good points there, sir...

Thank you. I was certain you'd be agreeable with all that.

TV over the airwaves just like mom used to make to ye olde radiation king that she used to give us kids heck for sitting too close to. Something about ruining your eyes. Speaking of which, "Keez me good night Eddie."

    Nancy,

To some extent it depends on which insurance company... We've had both NB>good and some less good experiences with insurance claims over the NB>years... :)

Years ago, when Farmers raised my rate for no reason, I told them to
kiss off, and I went elsewhere.

... DisneyLand: A people trap operated by a mouse.

They raised the admission prices per person, for one day, to
$209...that may not include tax. For a family of a father, mother, and 3
kids, that's over $1000 spent before you get into the park.

Not sure what the price is at DisneyWorld, but I'm sure it's
    comparable.

Ah... That's what Richard watches, still... over the airwaves, basic
antenna... still gets lots of stations (and now, substations).... Not
likely to go away totally any time soon.... We've never had cable, and
haven't done it streaming through a computer or the like either... But
he is using a flat screen monitor instead of the old-tyme CRT... ;)

Speaking of which, "Keez me good night Eddie."

And I'm not recognizing that... Of course, I didn't grow up with TV (my
parents never did get one, although they'd watch my sister's once they'd
moved into the in-law apartment she built onto her house for them)... so there's a lot of TV references I'd not necessarily get....

Never had experience with that company... just as well, it seems... :)

No doubt.... I've never been either place... haven't really had that
    much wish to, actually... :)
