I did something I vowed I woud never do ... I bought an iPad ... for my wife.
Welcome to the kool-aid :-)
Now she asks me "How can I print stuff?"
Personally I tell people the iPad is a consumer device -
it consumes and makes things paperless. If you must print,
email it to yourself and print from a computer.
I saw the other reply (and yes I know this is an old post -
I'm new to this echo though) and there are things you can
do, like share a printer from your MAC or PC and print to
it.
Bottom line - IMHO - an iPad is GREAT (I have one too, and
love it) but it's NOT a replacement for a computer.
Can I browse files on the network and for examples play music or movies from the media-server?
If you have WebDav turned on on your media server you should
be able to, though I've not done it. As a full blown Apple
fanboi I have an Apple TV and the iPad (and my MacBook) serve
up the media to the Apple TV. :-)
... Multitasking: screw up several things at once!
