I mentioned this XP box being slow.
I thought of three other things.
When I download a file it takes a long time before I see the Download
Finished box in Firefox.
Also in Firefox I have noticed when I scroll a page to continue reading
it I see a 'flicker' by which I mean a tiny horizontal line in the
middle of the LCD screen flickering when I scroll up or down.
If I check a URL (Link) in Mozilla Thunderbird 14.0 using the Dr. Web
Link Checker extension, Dr. Web works just fine.
If I check a URL (Link) in Mozilla Firefox 14.0.1 using the Dr. Web Link Checker extension, I get a pop up window: --------------------------------------------------------------------- [JavaScript Application]
! exc in ev handl: TypError: this.oRoot.enable is not a function
|---------|
| OK |
|---------| ----------------------------------------------------------------------
After I click the OK button Dr. Web Link Checker checks the URL.
If I think of any more Paranoia I will include it in another message.
