is there a point software for AmigaOS available somewhere?
And if yes, is it possible to use it with binkp polling?

I would like to try it on my A1200 :)
MailManager was my 'go to' piece of Point software back in the day
of using it on a real A1200. It's on Aminet and also look out for
a Y2k patch which you will need.
It does all the tossing for you... so if you get binkp working you
are good to go. I was using it with TrapDoor iirc.

From back in the day I remember April and Spot. I don't think
they were meant to be used with binkd, they used trapdoor to make
modem connections as far as I remember. So I don't know if you
can make them work with binkd. You can probably find them on
aminet.net.
