oh your the new owner of allfix since when? i didnt know they sold it. then again i been away but i hope it still gets developed... will there be a win32 version to support long file names and software still being developed such as mystic? i am running the latest 6.x dos and i loved how when i ran renegade alpha it was so much easier to do things being supported. i'm running it in dosbox so im sure thats prolly why the file_id.diz does not get imported like it should but the pkzip and unzip are there.

Harald Harms, the original author sold it to a guy who did nothing with it, who
passed it to me somewhere around 15+ years ago.

I have since removed any restrictions due to it being non-registered, and released it so that almost anyone can freely use it. Check www.allfix.com for the latest version.

A Win32 version, possibly sometime, maybe. Long file names, unlikely so as to be able to be compatible with legacy systems.

the first step is for mystic to stabilize and not be changing its data structures... until that moving target stops moving, there isn't very much that
    can be done...

you need to take a look at the FTSC web site, tony... yes, there is a certain format for TIC files and it is documented on the FTSC site along with most everything else used in FTNs...

Given the environment in BBSing nowadays, I'd love to see SBBS 3.x file area support. If you provide support for Mystic and Synchronet, you'll hit the majority of operational BBSes.

If, as others have stated, the structures are changing with every release, one would have to wait until they are stable, and remain unchanged. Plus they would have to be supplied by the author, not downloaded from some website to ensure they are accurate and complete. This applies to any software
    package, not just mystic btw.
