Speaking as both moderator and owner of AllFix, I must tell you that
real names are required in this echo, and pipe codes are neither needed
or wanted.

oh your the new owner of allfix since when? i didnt know they sold it.
then
again i been away but i hope it still gets developed... will there be a win32
version to support long file names and software still being developed
such as
mystic? i am running the latest 6.x dos and i loved how when i ran
renegade
alpha it was so much easier to do things being supported. i'm running it
in
dosbox so im sure thats prolly why the file_id.diz does not get imported like
it should but the pkzip and unzip are there.
oh your the new owner of allfix since when? i didnt know they sold it.Harald Harms, the original author sold it to a guy who did nothing with it, who passed it to me somewhere around 15+ years ago.

Updates will happen as requests are processed, and time permits.
Since the program is no longer being sold, but is freely available,
it is not the highest priority in life.

vista

Sorry, currently AllFix is only a 16 bit program, so it won't work in a 64bit environment.

Any plans to program a Linux version?

message
down if there were plans for a win32 version to support long file names
A Win32 version, possibly sometime, maybe. Long file names, unlikely so as to be able to be compatible with legacy systems.

Given the environment in BBSing nowadays, I'd love to see SBBS 3.x file
area
support. If you provide support for Mystic and Synchronet, you'll hit
the
majority of operational BBSes.
how can we get mystic supported? Before it could even be considered, the mystic structures would have to
be supplied.

they come with every release.

thank you for looking into this
If, as others have stated, the structures are changing with every release, one would have to wait until they are stable, and remain unchanged. Plus they would have to be supplied by the author, not downloaded from some website to ensure they are accurate and complete. This applies to any software package, not just mystic btw.

thats interesting because im looking at the records from 1.11 and 1.12
and
they are the same. the link i sent you are from 1.12 that come with
mystic
install.
g00r00 is on vacation right now.
I'm only going by what others have stated. Feel free to have the author/developer contact us directly if they wish to interface with AllFix.

Possibly, if there's enough demand, however there's no timeframe.
