• File Announce...

From Bill McGarrity@1:266/404 to Bob Seaborn on Tue Jul 14 21:12:00 2015
    Hiya Bob...

I've been searching to see if it can do it just no luck so far. I was wondering if ALLFIX can create a plain txt file when it receives any files so I can use that instead of importing into one of the options you give. I'm running Synch here so nothing can post in the message board other than importing a text file via a utility.

    I'm using 6.0.24 for DOS.

    Thanks

You can tell Allfix to create announcements as .pkt's into your tossers inbound.

I saw the choice for the PKT but it doesn't give me an option on where to put it once it's created. I can only assume it's going to my outbound folder.

There was something tricky with that option... where to create the .pkts... Cannot remember details right now away from my Allfix.

I tried getting it to work with Synchronet 3.16. I wanted the message to go to a local message area and importing a text file with smbutil would be cleaner. --- SBBSecho 2.27-Win32
