this is GREAT news! however, i think i'll wait a bit until the fileshare
bug is handled... IIRC, i run the universal version... i have to run it
as a separate task during my midnight maint when the mailer nodes are
down because there is tha above mentioned MSG file sharing bug... when
my FD is running and rescanning the mailer's netmail area, there are
times when FD and AF were trying to access the same MSG file at the same time... in those cases, AF lost and generally hung on me requiring a
hard reboot of the Warp3Connect system...
dunno if this bug has ever been reported but if not, it is now :P ;)

I also use the UNI version here, two separate processes in
fact, although under Warp 4 FP13, and have never seen this happen
here. I run IM and AllFix as separate processes, in separate
windows, only communicating via the semaphore flags.
You couldn't simply close the AllFix window, and then restart
it?

I really need to get everything running native on Win7, this layered
approach is making me crazy.
I just moved everythign into a virtual XP machine. While not
perfect at
least I don't need to worry about compatability issues.

Well, for some reason I can't get BinkD to install as a service in
the virtualized XP; hatch frags my system; and while port forwarding
on what the virtual machine thinks is a network share; and run Radius
on the host side to handle the serial connections.
on the "share", they don't see all of the files. I have to run
multiple passes of Squish to get it to toss all of the bundles in my inbound.
I don't know why that is happening, but I haven't figured out a way
around it.
I'm running Virtualbox here, as well.
Strange. Did you want me to email you my config file or screen
shots or
anything to try to solve it? Honestly though I don't think I did anything
special to it.
