Depends on what you want the program to do. TinyTic will process BM>incoming tic/files and put them in the correct directory and will
also announce. It will not reply to a query in FileFind.
right now I'm working with Allfix and htick to see it I can fudge
them enough to work for what I want.
On a sidenote, you can always ask DM to put an internal tic processor
in Synch.. ;)

You could try FileMgr which is supplied as binary with sources.
Note it only runs in a Dos box (Windows or Linux).

Then I am assuming Allfix will create it's own pkt during a filefind
query if
found. Question is, for the FILEFIND area do you need to set it up to
read
incoming pkt's rather than a SQUISH or JAM msg base being we're using
Synch?
Right now I've been working with copying incoming pkts to a dummy
directory and
allowing Allfix to read the incoming pkts. I am seeing it just wants to create
a compressed outgoing file rather than just a pkt to my outbound
directory. Is
that an issue? Can I just send non-compressed? I am also assuming if it creates
a reply, the path and seenby will have my main address therefore not be imported into Synch's msg base unless I setup Allfix as a point.
Correct?
I'm trying my best over here and I didn't want to disturb you with
trivial
stuff.

I thought you were referring to the (aborted) attemp by Harald,
the original AllFix author, to incorporate message echo management into AllFix some years ago, well before I acquired ownership of the code.
Sorry, I've never played with the filefind part.

Allfix / FILEFIND can read JAM base, and write replies to JAM base or .PKT. You can tell it what to do. Here's one of mine:
