    I was trying to process some incoming files, and I get this error:

    % 14:46:01 Active (00:01)
    ! 14:46:01 Invalid pointer operation, program aborted.
    ! 14:46:01 Error address : 0000:0A10

    What does it mean, and how can I remedy it?

    what does it mean? a pointer to a memory locating was being manipulated improperly...

    how can you remedy it? *you* cannot... it is a bug in the program... the address given should enable the code maintainer to track it down and handle it...
