    nickA's system was not involved at all... it was due to a misconfiguration on the above system that allowed another (look at the control lines) to areafix echos that are in another network other than the network being joined... maybe that sysop has learned something and tightened their configuration... then again, maybe not ;)

    I did let him know about issue (don't know if you sent a netmail or not) so hopefully that's done. I'll just have to be a bit more careful with %+ALL the next time lol and do a list first. Just assumed it would be configured correctly but that's what I get for assuming.

    i didn't send kris anything... i figured that you and/or he would get enough netmails about it and i didn't need to be piling on... hopefully he has tightened things up and removed systems from those areas they shouldn't have access to, too ;)
