YEp, computer here stays on universal time. Kathy's linux
box, <who cares> doesn't matter that much.
sEt one clock on the wall to new time, adjust our watches.
I leave the wall clocks set the way they are. Too many to change.
Yah we've got the one in the living room and the kitchen
stove clock. IF they're inccurate that's Kathy's problem.
i use my braille watch on my wrist, or the computer, or to
get minutes past the hour I use the national bureau of
standards wwv on shortwave just to see if the computer's
setting its clock three mornings a week like it's supposed
to <g>. WE'll have to make sure time on the alarm clock is
right tonight though as I've gotta get Kathy up, gotta go to the car wash, vacuum out the van and then go pick up some
new to us office furniture tomorrow.
The older you get, the shorter your nights become.
Yah, and losing anotehr hour don't help <g>.
Means I've got a ham radio net to control on Thursday nights which runs
an hour later now due to DST. OTher than the
discombobulation of my body clock for a few days I guess I"m ready.
Wish they'd leave it the heck alone though.
I didn't vote for it and if it were up to me, I'd abolish DST.
I sure didn't either. Have read that accident rates go up
when they change the time like that. <oh well>.
Regards,
Richard
