An Important Message from "Thumpers Anonymous"

Alcoholics better avoid concerts, sports, festivals, fairs, etc.
Being around all of these activities will set up an alcoholic to be
near people who celebrate by raising a glass and toasting each other.
Alcohlics can not participate in such things, since this behavior must
be avoided, because it's a ritual which originated from alcohol
consumption. An AA member preforming such activities are "pretend
drinking", even if they only have soda or water, or nothing in their
    glass.

In fact, in order to avoid any connection to alcohol, an AA member
would be best to not use any glasses, cans, bottles, or plastic
throw-away cups at all. A REAL alcoholic should not allow any of
these items in their home, particularly stemware, and glasses/mugs
that have handles on them. Also, never refer to anything in your home
as a "bar". Not even a juice bar. The word bar is a word reserved to
alcohol drinking, and must not be used by members of AA. And never
sit on a stool under any circumstances.

Remember, any activity that has any resemblance to drinking alcohol
will cause you to relapse. Just using a glass to drink milk could
cause a relapse if that same glass once contained beer, or could
possibly be used by someone to drink a beer in the future.

To be sure of continued sobriety, AA members must avoid playing
billiards, darts, cards games, eating peanuts and popcorn, dancing,
listening to rock music, sitting on a stool, watching sports on tv,
bowling, dating, and more...... These things are all activities from
bars, and thus must be avoided to prevent "pretend drinking", and thus
relapse. Above all, NEVER TOAST anything, not even bread, since
toasting is an alcohol related activity. If someone toasts you at a
family reunion, rip the glass from their hands and smash it on the
floor. If this pisses them off, tell them that they just "set you up"
for a relapse, and if they do it again, you will be at the fuck out of them.......

Oops, I'll take that back....... you cant beat them up either.....
That too is a bar activity.......

TIP: If you must drink water, milk, or soda, use an old soup tin can
as the container. No alcoholics ever use them to drink their beer.

READ THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO PERMANENT
    SOBRIETY.

Us Thumpers know it all and we are ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!
    (God will agree).

Whatever you do, never read the beer signs on bars. They are evil!

Welcome to our Wednesday Thumpers Anonymous meeting. Are you ready to
admit that you're powerless over your thumping? Help is just a phone
call away. Some of you can recover and get a life once again. The
others of you have no hope of recovery and will forever be an
irritating thumper without a life! God has made this determination
for you and he is the one to place blame.

Sponsors are available right now. Please sign up on the sponsorship
    list if you want one.
