Please post in correct echo we don't need to spill over.

dave does offline mail... i suspect that xxcarol's message base layout
has changed and daves was caught in that as offline mail (qwk) is generally done by message base numbers... it is likely that the AMIGA conference was first and then 10TH_AMD got added and pushed all areas
off by at least one... this is one of the problems that offline mail
has with adding and removing areas to a system...

Actually Carol runs Syncrhonet and I know what the problem is.

She is using Dynamically Assigned QWK base numbers... and it will do exactly what you are saying if she does maintainance.

I'm noticing Mystic is same way

To avoid this you have to go in the QWK Conference field and assign them numbers that stay static that way it doesn't change.

I'm sold and I'm probably going with Mystic. I have a pretty good older computer that I'm going to put Ubuntu on and run. But to prevent this kind of mishap Carol needs to get a QWK packet ... print screen what all her conference numbers are and then go in and assign them statically. She will never... ever have problems again with this.

I'm waiting to assign my static numbers until I get everything in and mostly alphabetized. The Static numbers are important or this happens :-(
