Is it possible to have DDMsgReader pause at the end of an echo during a newscan to ask if you would like to post on the area before asking to move on to the next area?

Currently there isn't. The closest thing is that there is an option
for whether or not you want it to ask if you want to post after reading the last message (but not during a newscan).
Oddly enough, this message popped up again - DDMsgReader reset my newscan pointers. It only seems to affect my DOVEnet areas, I don't recall other areas being reset to the beginning.

I'm still investigating when I can as I see the issue occur on my
system.

Didn't I bring something similar to this up quite awhile ago? I think at the time you hadn't noticed it yourself, though.
