Hey all--how can I confirm that the automated network call-outs are happening as scheduled? I've double-checked settings but I must be missing something. I can't seem to pick up new messages without forcing a network callout. Thanks!

Check your log. For instance, when calling out to Dove-Net, I see logs starting with "evnt QNET Dove-Net".

Check your events log and compare against your configuration in SCFG->Networks->QWK->Network Hubs->Hub-ID.
Thank you! It looks like I had a packet download since I posted that. Heh! The default call-outs are 4 a day. Is the timing of those just 24 hours / 4 times a day? Every six hours?
I think I'll increase the frequency.

Is that right? I don't know where the "Dove-Net" would come from. I'd expect to see something more like:
"evnt QNET Call-out: VERT"

I see that in my log. But also in my log, I see events for each sub-board, such as these:
evnt QNET Dove-Net General New: 0 of 7845
evnt QNET Dove-Net Advertisements New: 0 of 5536
And so on..
Those are REP packet export activity log messages which begin with the message group name. The default/stock name of that message group is "DOVE-Net" (capitalized in that way) but for some reason on your system its "Dove-Net", so that threw me a little.
After those log messages, you
should see the "Call-out" event logged. That's what the OP was asking about.

I don't know/remember why mine is capitalized like that. I suppose I should change it so that it's correct.
After those log messages, you
should see the "Call-out" event logged. That's what the OP was asking about.
I thought those log messages were triggered by the same event. It sounds like they aren't.

"DOVE-Net" is actually how it's set up on my BBS, capitalized like that, so I don't know why it's showing as "Dove-Net" in my logs.

That's mysterious. Maybe do a text search through your ctrl/*.ini files.
