  • Central Ontario Remote BBS?

    So, I heard there was a new BBS in town, but when I try to connect, it just says Connecting... and sits there. I've asked other SysOps if they could connect, and they said they had. I'm using this info:

    centralontarioremote.com

    on port 2300

    Am I using something wrong with these settings?

    I just checked, those are right. Its on the TELnet list here on RoF. Just hit TEL at main>

    That is the correct address. Dunno why you cannot connect. I use SyncTERM as well and I connect just fine.

    Hmm, I'm gonna try DELETING that entry from my SyncTerm phonebook and re-entering it to see if that makes a difference. If not, I'll give Spit's TEL command a try.

    OK, I deleted my initial entry for his BBS from my phonebook, exited, went back
    in, and created a new phonebook entry and it WORKED!

    Not sure what got corrupted or whatever the first time, by my presence is now known on another board! Time to kick some royal WOF butt on yet another server!
