Hi. I have come across an old ARC file containing skyterm, but the archive is passworded. Looking for any old school hackers from back in the day to attempt to open/decompress it. The file has been uploaded to Reign Of Fire BBS if anyone could please help.

    Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, I have a copy of Skyterm here on my BBS

I tried to create an account, but your system didn't like my password.
Also, for an Amiga BBS, why don't you list good Amiga Terms as suggested terms
to call with? I used Term v4.8 and it seemed to look good.
I would really like to get a copy of SkyTerm, been looking for it for years now. Sad thing is, C-Net Amiga so far is the only BBS Software that supports Skypix. I posted Docs about Skypix in hope those still developing BBS
Software and Term programs would add Skypix support.

Hmm... netmail me the password you were trying to use. I'm kinda curious. I didn't set up anything up as far as the password settings. I'm going to have to
double check that. I am curious as to which term works best, and find out which ones don't so I can tell the author about it. That's something NuSkooler is gonna add. more Amiga support. Hopefully soon!

It wasn't in my file area?? I have some file(s) and area(s) I still have to add to the database. I'll do a scan and see if I can find it. Is there a perticular version you need?

I was able to get on, left you feedback. I will return soon. Term v4.8 works well, DCTelnet does not, but it may be my font settings I will need to change. I will do testing for you and let you know. Will even load JR-Comm
    and see whats up!

ok, keep me posted! I'd like to know what does and what doesn't work with Enigma so I can give NuSkooler a heads up too. I know he's going to be putting more Amiga friendly stuff in this software soon. Can't wait!

JR-Comm is still the better terminal for Skypix for the Amiga. Also, I

Just waiting on my Greaseweazel Floppy controller and I will have access to what I have left of my Amiga disks, and registered copies of JR Comm and Terminus 2.0e are included in them.. I really liked Terminus back in the day, can't wait to boot it up in one of my AOS emulations and call around with it..

and Terminus disks, got them installed and they work, just haven't used either of them in so many years that I forgot how to use them! LOL so I haven't played with either program. To be honest, it's a lot easier to just boot Netrunner or SyncTerm then to first boot a AOS then go into the term program on there. I have every AOS in emulation on a VM on a seperate machine which is my emulation machine, it does all emulations, plus copies Zoomfloppy disks, Greaseweazle disks and allows me to copy any SD card.. Eventually, I will play with Terminus again...

... It said "insert disk #3", but only two will fit...

I have now started work on copying my 500+ library of PC disks, and once I get the 5.25 floppy drives I just ordered on eBay I will copy my 300+ disk library of Commodore 64 stuff..

Just a quick follow up to this message, got my 1.2meg PC 5.25 floppy drive and it will only copy 1 side of the 1541 disks, the back side needs to be done with my Zoomfloppy and my 1541, the whole reason for getting the 5.25 drive was so I could save my 1541 from the wear of copying a ton of disks to images.. Not a good thing if you ask and I am not modifying the drive to make it read the 2nd side of the disk.. So, I guess it's time to start copying, got about 20 PC disks copied, forgot I had half of this stuff mainly DOS stuff from back in the day. Xtree Gold I miss that program! Wish Winnuts had something like it.. Last on the list will be my BBS Porn disks about 100 of them from when I ran my BBS back in 94-96 on the PC.. We'll see what else I dig up..
