So the idea of taking a D64 image and saving it to my 1541 floppy drive
has got me so interested, I ordered a XU1541 and I can not wait until it gets here. So I should be able to put what I need right to real hardware. I will let everyone know how it works as soon as I get it!

I feel the same way and like you I put together the equipment to do just
that, but then there was a knock on the door and when I opened it life took
me away from my task. I vow to get to it in the future though, maybe a good post holiday project.

Keep posting on yours I would love to live through yours till I get back to mine. ;)

So here I am trying to get my OpenCBM to see my drive, but its not. Windows 10 64 bit device manager sees it, and its using the OpenCBM driver. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Has anyone else had success with a xu1541 x-cable?

I was able to copy CCGMS Ultimate toa floppy on my 1541. Then load it up on the C64 and set up my WiFi Modem. There were some very helpful videos on setting up the modem. No I am calling out on my beadbox for the first time in over 30 years.

I do need to purchace more floppies. I had 2 that came with this set up. I will be trying the up-loading and downloading soon. Also I will beworking on how RoF looks in CG and Column.
